Yobs hurl tables and chairs at each other as mass brawl erupts outside restaurant

This is the shocking moment a mass brawl erupts outside a restaurant in North London as yobs batter each other with tables and chairs.

The scrap was filmed in broad daylight outside Amed Restaurant in Hendon on Thursday.

Horrifying footage showed large groups of men charging at each other armed with chairs as stunned bus passengers and passers-by watched in disbelief.

A person watching the fight can be heard saying: "What are they doing?"

Some of the men were seen picking up the tables as others hurled chairs.

Two of the men are then seen falling to the ground after they come to blows with the furniture.

One yob was knocked into a parked car, tumbling to the ground.

One man armed with a table charged at his rivals and forced them to retreat.

Some men ran off as restaurant staff could then be seen picking up the chairs and tables that had been left strewn across the road.

It's unclear what caused the fight to erupt.

Police are aware of the video and are making enquiries to establish what happened.

A Met Police spokesman told the Mirror Online: "Police were called shortly before 16:00hrs on Tuesday, 17 August to reports of a fight on Vivian Avenue, NW4.

"Officers attended but the group had left prior to their arrival. Enquiries continue.

"We are aware of footage that is circulating online and this will form part of the investigation."
