Yob jailed after admitting torching wheelie bin in Wishaw street

A yob who set fire to a wheelie bin has been locked up for six months at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

Taylor Docherty, 20, formerly of Greenfield Drive, Cambusnethan, admitted torching and destroying a bin and contents in Main Street, Wishaw, while already on bail in November 2017.

Docherty, now of Register Road, Kilsyth, also admitted giving police false details.
