A 59-year-old female coach driver was battered by a teenager at the city's main bus station after she refused his angry demands to take him to Aigburth at midnight.
Jane Brown had dropped off her passengers at Liverpool ONE on Friday night when the yob struck after sneaking on board the 49-seater Mega Bus.
The youth was found sitting in a seat as the gran-of-four made her final checks before locking up and he soon demanded she drive him to Aigburth.
Ms Brown said that when she refused, the thug hurled a stream of expletives at her and then started to attack her in an assault that lasted for several minutes.
She added that the teen even sank his teeth into the coach driver's ankle and leg and threw punch after punch at her.
At one stage, she said, he grabbed her head and pushed it into the coach dashboard.

Ms Brown repeatedly told her attacker she didn't drive to Aigburth, but he replied: "Yes you f***ng do, stop lying!"
Ms Brown and the lout ended up grappling on the floor, but he then ran off. The police were called to the scene, in the early hours of Saturday.
The mum-of-three, from Hyde, Manchester, is convinced the youth was either very drunk or on drugs at the time.
She told the ECHO: "This lad sneaked onto the coach as I was doing the luggage.
"He was just sitting there, expecting me to take him home.
"He called me all sorts of names, and told me I was chatting "s***."
"He was right in my face so I pushed him away and he then started punching and biting me.
"I've got a thick lip, a bump on my head, and two big bite marks and bruises on my leg.
"It seemed to go on forever.
"I'll need to check if I need a tetanus jab, or something.
"It's left me shaken up, I've done the job for 20 years, but this is the worst thing that's ever happened to me while working.
"I just kept thinking, "what's going on?' as he was attacking me.

"He was off his face.
"Two young girls stayed with me until the police came which was really nice.
"They need to catch him, he's a little toerag.
"At one stage, I asked him, 'would you speak to your mum like that?'
"But he ignored that. I don't go to work for this."
Officers from Merseyside Police arrived at the scene and took a statement from Ms Brown, and are investigating.
Gareth MCallister, the coach company boss from MP Travel, based in Runcorn, said: "I'm absolutely disgusted.
"You don't expect to come to work and deal with that.
"I feel so strongly about this that I'm going to put a cash reward so he is found."
