Yet another reason the Raiders won't land Tom Brady, and it's a solid one

Tom Brady has yet to decide where he will play next season. But it seems he knows with whom he wants to play.

That's not a good thing for the Raiders, assuming they were a) all in on hosting Brady during his 20th NFL season and b) selling their used Carr.

Per ESPN: "Ready for a wild audible? Two people close to Antonio Brown _ yes, that Antonio Brown _ told us Brady keeps in consistent contact with Brown and has told Brown he wants to play with him wherever Brady goes next."

Here's the deal. Not even five Tom Bradys, in the prime of his (their?) career, playing for free, would be worth the trouble of the mercurial, volatile, flighty, childlike Brown.

Asked about Brown at the NFL Scouting Combine, Raiders general manager Mayock said, "Antonio Brown, I have very little comment about. I think he had his time with the Raiders and I think his time is up."

ESPN also reported that Brady has told Brown to stay in shape. I'm going to guess that Mayock, who spent most of training camp last summer levying fines against Brown, was unmoved.

Although it is possible that Mayock, upon seeing the Instagram post below, set a Combine spit-take record.
