Hello, Mando. Whaaat’s happening? Yeah, we’re going to go ahead and throw a little wink to a movie outside the Star Wars universe into an episode of The Mandalorian and while it’s a little jarring, it’s still kind of funny.
Did you catch that little nod to Office Space that made its way into Chapter 15? It came from Bill Burr’s Mayfield, who breaks in with Mando to an imperial base to get something that will help our hero track down Moff Gideon and, of course, Baby Yoda Grogu.
In the middle of this base, Mayfield and Mando are pretending to be Imperial troops, when they’re stopped by an officer suspicious of them. Mayfield tries to drag Mando away as he says, “C’mon, let’s go fill out those TPS reports, so we can go recharge the power coils!”
