Yes, Gardner Minshew cuts his own jorts

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew II has been using his time off wisely by going to a place near and dear to him: Pullman, Washington. As most are aware, Pullman is home to Washington State University, where Minshew first started to catch the eyes of the nation as a Heisman candidate and take the football program to great heights.

With the Cougars taking on the UCLA Bruins, Minshew decided to head to the West Coast this weekend to support his former team, who came into the game ranked No. 19 in the AP polls. Of course, in light of his recent success, he received a warm welcome from both the fans and media and took several interviews throughout the day. The crew over at ESPN caught up with him on the sidelines to talk football and also asked the rookie quarterback a burning question about his distinctive fashion sense.

So there you have it folks — Minshew custom makes his own jorts, but we expected nothing less from a guy who goes by his own rules.

Unfortunately, Minshew’s appearance wasn’t able to rally his former teammates to a victory as the game had a crazy finish in which UCLA somehow erased a 32-point deficit and won the game by a final score of 67-63.
