Yerry Mina shares delight at James Rodriguez and Richarlison's Everton transfer decisions

Yerry Mina has shared his delight that James Rodriguez and Richarlison have remained at Everton this summer.

Speculation was rife surrounding the pair as the club entered the closing stages of the transfer window, with potential moves rumoured to be in the works for both.

James Rodriguez was set to be used in a potential deal to bring Porto winger Luis Diaz to Goodison Park, but differences between the two clubs could not be ironed out before Tuesday's deadline.

Meanwhile Richarlison was reportedly to be the subject of some interest from Paris Saint-Germain if they were to allow Kylian Mbappe to leave the club and join Real Madrid.

However the France international stayed put on deadline day and no move for the Brazilian ever materialised, with Rafa Benitez last week confirmed that Everton would not entertain offers for one of their star players.

That led Mina to share his delight on Instagram that his two close friends were staying with the club.

The centre-back took to the social media site to share a behind-the-scenes image from Finch Farm of the trio preparing for their latest training session.

With Mina in the middle of Rodriguez and Richarlison the caption simply translates to: "My friends stay!"

None of the trio are set to travel for international duty over the coming weeks after Premier League clubs joined together to block their players heading to red list countries where they would need to isolate upon their return.

Rodriguez is back in training after being forced to self-isolate at the beginning of the campaign and could be in line for his first appearance of the term against Burnley when the Blues are back in action.
