Yerry Mina returns but Everton hit by new absence as team news confirmed for Arsenal

Yerry Mina has returned to the Everton starting line-up for the first time since the beginning of October to play against Arsenal on Monday evening.

The centre-back is one of two changes made by Rafa Benitez following a disappointing Merseyside Derby defeat, with Anthony Gordon also gaining a place in the 11.

Salomon Rondon drops out through injury - while Lucas Digne is not involved in the squad.

That means Ben Godfrey will seemingly move over to the left side of defence, with Mina coming straight in to partner Michael Keane.
In front of them, Benitez has opted for two in midfield once more as Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure keep their spots.

Gordon comes into the side alongside both Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray, with all attempting to provide service to Richarlison as the main strike.

Everton: Pickford; Coleman, Mina, Keane, Godfrey, Allan, Docuoure, Townsend, Gray, Gordon, Richarlison.

Subs: Begovic, Kenny, Holgate, Delph, Iwobi, Tosun, Gomes, Gbamin, Branthwaite.

Arsenal: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Lacazette.
