Yerry Mina limps out of Everton's Carabao Cup showdown with Watford as Marco Silva injury worries continue

Yerry Mina has been forced off with a knee problem for the second consecutive match.

The Everton defender was replaced after 41 minutes at Goodison tonight after appearing to tweak his right knee when playing a short pass.

Mina missed the defeat at Brighton on Saturday with the issue he picked up against West Ham but was passed fit to face Watford this evening in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

The Colombian had made an impressive return to the side, alongside Mason Holgate, but his night was brought to a premature end when his knee problem flared up again.

Mina was replaced by Michael Keane and headed straight down the tunnel to be assessed by the Everton medical team.

The Blues only have three senior centre-halves in the squad after failing to land prime target Kurt Zouma from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
