Yerry Mina and James Rodriguez have given Dominic Calvert-Lewin a new nickname at Everton

James Rodriguez and Yerry Mina have taken part in a Q&A session delving into the lighter side of themselves and the Everton squad.

The Blues stars were friends in the Colombia national team before the playmaker made the move from Real Madrid to Goodison Park in the summer.

The pair were asked to take on random questions from the club covering a wide range of topics, with one including what a potential Colombian nickname for Dominic Calvert-Lewin would be.

Mina revealed that he already has a name for the in-form Blues striker, which reflects the goalscoring exploits he has demonstrated so far this term.

The defender admitted: "I always call him as 'El Hombre en Llamas'. He is in a very good moment now.

"On fire! Yes! 'The Man On Fire'!"

Rodriguez was then asked to supply an anecdote about Mina and had no hesitation in responding.

He chose one from when he first met the defender while on international duty with Colombia, with the centre-back displaying some uncharacteristic nerves!

The playmaker revealed: "One day at the Copa America in the US, I think it was one of your first call-ups - and we were on one table with Falcao, David [Ospina] and me.

"We said: 'Yerry, panita, come here'.

"And you were red like a tomato! You said: 'No, no, thank you!'

"Falcao said: 'Come, come, come', and you were sweating - that is a good one!"

The pair agreed that manager Carlo Ancelotti is not always serious and does make jokes sometimes, before moving onto to the best and worst-dressed teammates.

Rodriguez was the man tasked with answering the difficult question, and he couldn't help but make some comments on the style choices of Richarlison.

"I always see Richarlison coming in with NBA shirts. It seems he is always coming in with pyjamas," Rodriguez added.

"Yes, shorts and flip flops.

"And the best dressed...who can I say? We are in separate dressing rooms, only six people per dressing room, so I don't know who is the best dressed.

"But I can say that you [Mina] are! Don't you?"

The video has already amassed over 40,000 views on YouTube at the time of writing and supporters in the comments were delighted to see a little glimpse behind-the-scenes of the two Everton stars.
