Yeremy Pino makes Arsenal transfer decision as Mikel Arteta pushes Edu to complete dream swoop

Here is your Arsenal transfer roundup on Friday, August 26.

Pino open to Arsenal move

According to transfer guru Dean Jones, Yeremy Pino would very much be open to making a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer. Speaking about Arsenal's transfer plans on The Football Terrace YouTube channel, Jones said: "They are still on the case of Yeremy Pino, who scored in a win at the weekend for Villarreal.

"He's going to continue to play for his club as normal, but I'm told he is very much open to a transfer like this and would be excited to join Arsenal."

Arteta dealt Neto setback

According to a report from O'Jogo, Arsenal have 'no chance' of prising Pedro Neto away from Wolves this summer, with Bruno Lage's side extremely keen to keep the 22-year-old at the club for at least one more season. It is said that the chance of Neto completing a move this summer 'is almost nil'.

Wolves boss Bruno Lage has spoken out about the reported interest in Neto, claiming that his side are yet to receive any official proposals for the young wideman. Speaking after his side defeated Preston North End 2-1 in the Carabao Cup, he said, via Birmingham Live: "I have heard that, but nothing has come to us.

"It's normal now, with the good players that we have. Teams are looking for good players in the same way we are looking for (Goncalo) Guedes, Matheus (Nunes), (Nathan) Collins.

"No one told me anything about any proposal."

Zaha eyed as Pino alternative

Dean Jones has claimed that Wilfried Zaha is also an option for technical director Edu. Speaking about Arsenal's options on The Done Deal Show, Jones said: "They're not the only two names they're looking at (Neto and Pino). In the background, there is Wilfried Zaha.

"That deal is not moving forward at the moment, but Zaha is definitely one of those players that ticks the boxes and that Arsenal have an eye on. We will have to wait and see if they go down that path. Zaha is obviously in red-hot form at the moment."
