Yemeni Foreign Minister Khaled al-Yamani held talks in Aden on Wednesday with United Nations envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
The two officials discussed ways to push forward the peace process in the country.
They also tackled ways to build trust between warring parties to revive political consultations and put an end to the coup by the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
Griffiths is seeking to hold a new round of Yemen consultations this month.
The last round of consultations was held in Geneva in September. It ended in failure after the Houthis did not attend the talks.
