The Yemeni army made further advances on the Iran-backed Houthis on the western Taiz front, reported the Saudi Press Agency Saturday.
A Yemeni military source said that the army's forces were able to recapture more positions from the Houthis in the Mukabna and Jabal Habashi regions of Taiz.
The army also liberated the villages of Madafin, al-Qaeda, al-Qawz and parts of Jabal Aqab that overlooks the supply line of the militias, the source told the Media Center of the Yemeni Armed Forces.
The military also liberated the towns of Saada, Al-Ra'i and Qouz village south of the Qahban district.
