Yellow weather warning for Northern Ireland issued by Met Office

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for Northern Ireland today.

The weather warning for rain has been issued for Northern Ireland from this morning, June 28.

The warning is in place from 6am today until 3pm tomorrow afternoon.

On the Met Office website, the warning says:: "Further rain, heavy and persistent in places, may lead to some disruption."

A Met Office forecast for today said: "An unsettled day with showers or longer outbreaks of rain, heavy and persistent at times in the west. Windy with fresh to strong westerly winds. Cool. Maximum temperature 15 °C."
