Yellow weather warning for more snow across Nottingham

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow across Nottingham on Sunday, January 24.

Forecasters say there is a 50% chance of more snow falling on Sunday afternoon, between 1pm and 4pm.

It comes after after many parts of Nottinghamshire experienced snow on Saturday, January 23, resulting in some bus services being affected and a number of roads in villages in elosed.

Here is the outlook for Nottingham from the Met Office.

Today:

A cold and frosty start with any patchy fog slowly clearing. Bright elsewhere with some sunny spells. Dry in the north through the afternoon, turning cloudy in the south with a risk of sleet or snow for time, clearing later. Maximum temperature 3 °C.

Tonight:

Dry and cold with plenty of clear spells for much of the region and a widespread frost. Scattered wintry showers pushing into the north and west through the early hours. Minimum temperature -5 °C.

Monday:

Another cold day with bright or sunny spells and isolated wintry showers. Drier into the afternoon and evening, but turning breezy along the Lincolnshire coast. Very cold overnight. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
