Yearly salaries for Robert Alford, Brooks Reed

The Arizona Cardinals signed a pair of players who were released last week by the Atlanta Falcons. Cornerback Robert Alford was inked to a three-year deal, reportedly worth up to $24 million total, with $13.5 million guaranteed. Defensive end (soon-to-be outside linebacker) Brooks Reed signed for one year for a reported $2 million.

Their contracts have been processed and their base salaries are now available on the NFLPA website.

Reed’s base salary in 2019 will be $1.125 million.

While the specifics of his contract have not been released yet, it would appear his deal probably has something like a signing bonus of $625,000 and a roster bonus of $250,000. The Cardinals often tie between $250,000 and $500,000 in roster bonuses based on games active.

Alford’s base salary for the next three seasons is $4.45 million in 2019, $5.95 million in 2020 and $7.45 million in 2021.

The numbers for bonuses is not yet known.
