The end of the year provided plenty of hope for Canberrans, with bar and nightclub punters finally allowed to enjoy a boogie on the dance floor. The ACT was COVID-19 free once again and coronavirus restrictions were eased further. The historic landing of a seaplane on Lake Burley Griffin was set to signal a bold new way to commute to Sydney, while Brumbies and Raiders legends teamed up to help a special charity. Cats were in abundance to be adopted ahead of Christmas, as were eggs, including an eggstraordinary find at a local farm.
