Year group closed at Nottingham primary school after confirmed Covid case

Another Nottingham school bubble has closed after a case of coronavirus was confirmed.

Rosslyn Park Primary and Nursery School in Aspley confirmed the case on Friday, March 26, which means Year 4 pupils need to self-isolate for 10 days.

Headteacher Scott Mason said: "Due to a positive case in school, a Year 4 class will be isolating in accordance with PHE guidelines. Remote learning will now be offered to all impacted children.

"School remains open to all other children."

It comes after cases at Oak Field School in the city also closed two classes earlier this week.

Two classes at the Nottingham secondary school have been told to isolate at home after positive Covid-19 tests.

The school is working closely with Public Health England, the DfE, Nottingham City Council and the Nottingham Schools Trust in relation to any positive Covid-19 tests.
