Yazmin Oukhellou quits TOWIE to pursue career in Dubai after James Lock split

Yazmin Oukhellou has quit TOWIE to pursue a career in Dubai, it's been confirmed.

The reality TV show's rep has confirmed that she will be moving to the Middle East to launch a career in real estate and won't appear in the new series.

It comes after she split with her on-off boyfriend James Lock after a series of rows while they were in Dubai together.

A spokesperson for TOWIE told The Sun : "Yaz has decided to stay in Dubai to pursue a career in real estate so she won't be starting this series of The Only Way is Essex.

"We support this decision and wish her well in this new venture.

"As with other cast, the door remains open should she return to Essex."

The Mirror has contacted Yazmin's rep for comment.

Dubai is on the U.K's red list of countries, which means if she decides to return home to the UK she would have to pay £1,750 for a mandatory, 10-day quarantine at a government-mandated hotel.

The huge life change will come as a fresh start for Yaz after her relationship drama with Lockie.

They had been together for two years before splitting in August 2019.

Yaz and Lockie got back together in October last year and had been in Dubai on a "work trip".

She had claimed she caught a girl leaving Lockie's hotel room pulling her underwear up.

The TV star told The Sun: "Whether he did cheat or not our relationship died that night. I was on the floor being sick and crying my heart out and he still didn't come home until 12pm the next day."
