Yazmin Oukhellou cried 'help me my friend is dead' as she bravely got help after crash

Yazmin Oukehllou reportedly cried "help me, help me, my friend is dead" as the reality star bravely got help following the car accident in Turkey that tragically killed Jake McLean.

The Only Way Is Essex star Yaz, 28, is said to have pulled herself from the overturned Mercedes car with a bleeding arm to get help following the tragic car accident.

An injured Yaz climbed through 'thorny bushes' through a steep bank, where the car had landed, to wave down passing cars nearby, according to an official who told MailOnline.

A man then pulled over to help Yazmin, whose arm was bleeding, and called emergency services who tried to save Jake McLean, who tragically died in the accident.

On-off girlfriend and boyfriend Yazmin and Jake, who were said to have been in the 'best place' before the accident, were in the Mercedes car when it careered off the road as they went round a bend, plunging 30ft.

An official from Turkish Prosecutors Office in Bodrum, who cannot be named under Turkish law, told MailOnline: "Yazmin's arm was bleeding and she somehow managed to get to the road.

"A passing car stopped, and the driver helped her with her injury and called emergency services."

They added: "Jake died at the scene despite the attempts of paramedics to save him.

"Ambulance, police and fire fighters were there very quickly but this was a very bad smash and most of the damage to the car was caused to the driver's side."

The crash is understood to have taken place around 4.30am on Sunday along a winding road. Yaz and Jake are said to have been travelling from Bodrum to Yalikavak when the incident occurred.

The official added how Yaz is "lucky to be alive".

After receiving treatment in intensive care at a hospital in Turkey with her mother by her side, Yaz is now in a stable condition and is recovering in hospital.

Yaz's representatives said: "Yazmin is stable and recovering in hospital after surgery.

"Yazmin and her family have requested privacy at this time."

Meanwhile, it's been reported Yazmin and Jake were in a 'furious row' at a nightclub in the moments before leaving the venue and being involved in the tragic accident.

A source told The Sun: "Jake and Yazmin were locked in a furious argument in the club in front of everyone. Things got extremely heated quickly but they ended up leaving the venue together.

"They got into their car straight from the venue – it’s all so tragic. Everyone is praying Yazmin makes some sort of recovery."

Mirror has contacted Yaz's representatives for comment.

Yaz and Jake were first romantically involved in 2019 after she split from James Lock.

But, the pair cooled things off and Yaz got back with Lockie. However, when Yaz and Lockie ended things for good last year, she and Jake got back in touch.

It was reported she moved from Essex to Dubai to be with him before she confirmed their romance in December.

She wrote in the caption of a loved-up image with Jake: "We've been through more than most. Had our ups & downs but I wouldn't have us any other way."

The pair are then understood to have split in January. But, it has since been reported they had rekindled things again.
