More than 11,000 visitors including street artists from around the world flocked to the west end this weekend for Yardworks 2019.

There was sun and blue skies during the two-day celebration of live and curated graffiti art at SWG3's Glavanizers Yard from May 11 - 12.

The festival was one of the biggest yet with thousands making their way to see some of the spectacular creations on show. More than 100 artists traveled from around the world to take part, including Scotland's own Rogue One and Mark Worst.

Over the course of the weekend, SWG3's walls and railway arches were used as a canvas for more than 120 world-class artists, who transformed the area into a colourful display of artwork and murals.

More than 400 shades of paint and 800 litres will be used by the end of today.

Organiser Gaz Mac, Studio Director at SWG3, said: "What an incredible weekend. We had more than 11,000 people come through the doors and some spectacular art on show.

"Yardworks is fast becoming recognised as an international event, which is so exciting - not just for Glasgow, but for Scotland."

All of the new murals will remain on the walls at SWG3 and throughout Eastvale Place until next year's event.
