Yannick Carrasco transfer: Dalian Yifang name price for Arsenal target

Arsenal have reportedly been told they must fork out £25million if they want to sign Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang this summer.

The 25-year-old was first linked with a loan move to Unai Emery's team in January, but his Chinese employers were unwilling to sanction a temporary deal.

But a recent report from SportMediaSet has claimed that Carrasco has agreed terms with the Gunners over a move to the Emirates this summer.

However, the big issue for Arsenal remains negotiating a reasonable fee with the CSL side, who are standing firm over the stance on their star man.

Dalian, as in January, won't be letting their star man go cheap, while the Gunners' budget this summer is not huge after failing to reach the Champions League.

And the Evening Standard has reported that the Chinese side are demanding Arsenal must pay a fee in excess of £25m to complete the deal.

The Gunners, however, aren't the only ones interested in signing the Belgium international, with Bayern Munich reportedly also keen on securing his services.

The Bundesliga side have prioritised signing a winger this summer following the departures of experienced duo Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

They have made Manchester City star Leroy Sane their No.1 target but are keeping their options open should their move for the Germany international fail to materailise.

And according to Sport Bild , Bayern could turn their attention to Carrasco with the winger looking certain to leave for pastures new.

Carrasco recently stated in an interview with Belgium's Nieuwsblad that he was closing on a return to Europe and explained why he is so keen to return from the Far East: "Negotiations are going well.

"I am aware that I am an important player for the team but I hope the chairman understands and they let me leave.

"From a personal and family point of view, I would like to return to Europe and stay closer to my family. The adjustment for my family was also difficult over there.

“I have become a lot more mature and have learned a lot. Also on the field, where I had to take more responsibility. But my wish now is to return."
