Yannick Bolasie sends out message after first Everton runout in two years

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has sent out a message after his first Blues runout for more than two years.

Bolasie was among the substitutes brought on after an hour of yesterday's 3-3 friendly draw against Blackpool.

The 31-year-old put in an energetic cameo and came close to scoring with one stinging shot.

Tweeting after the game last night, Bolasie posted: "That felt good.

"[P]utting on that Everton top for the first time since 13/05/18 and back playing with the lads.

"177 days since my last competitive action in Europa League. It's time to build on this and continue working hard."

As the ECHO has previously reported, Bolasie is among the players Everton are looking to move on during the current transfer window.

The minutes he accrued for fitness at Bloomfield Road and the flashes of form he showed may well help towards securing his next move.

Mo Besic is another who was sent on in the second half and is also available for potential suitors.

Both Bolasie and Besic are training with the first team currently and may get further shop window opportunities in upcoming friendlies against Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End.
