Yankees games postponed with Nationals due to rain storm

WASHINGTON _ Both games between the Yankees and Nationals were postponed due to inclement weather on Wednesday night.

The clubs will attempt to complete a two-game, interleague series back at Nationals Park on June 18, beginning at 5:05 p.m. with the resumption of Tuesday's suspended game.

Tuesday's game was halted just before the bottom of the sixth inning, tied at 3. It was supposed to have been resumed Wednesday at 5:05 p.m., prior to the scheduled 7:05 p.m. game.

The Yankees will fly to Kansas City on Thursday, an off date for the club, before resuming this now-abbreviated road trip that concludes at Texas.
