Yankees' Aaron Judge leaves game after getting hit by pitch on wrist, sent to hospital for MRI

Aaron Judge left Thursday night's Yankees game against the Royals three innings after being hit on the right wrist by a pitch.

Judge, who was the designated hitter, took the Jakob Junis 93-mile per hour pitch in the first inning, but still was leading off in the bottom of the third.

The Yankees announced he was seen by the team doctor and sent New York Presbyterian Hospital for an MRI.

Judge singled on an infield hit back to the pitcher in the third, but Miguel Andujar pinch-hit in Judge's spot in the fourth inning.

The slugger is hitting .285 with 26 homers and 61 RBIs this season.

Andujar reached on a throwing error in the fourth, setting up Didi Gregorius' three-run homer.
