Whenever a shop launches a Yankee Candle sale, customers get very excited and if you're a fan of the famous candle brand we have some big news for you as we head into the weekend.
We know from our stories on Collectables selling off loads of them in its closing down sale earlier this year that there are plenty of Yankee Candle lovers among Chronicle readers and there will soon be a whole store dedicated to them in Newcastle.
Set to open within the next week, Yankee Candle will take over what used to be Xtras in intu Eldon Square, after the fancy dress store closed at the end of September.
While loads of people were upset that the store, which was always absolutely rammed at Halloween, was shutting its doors, there will be loads of others massively excited at the thought of having a shop where they can snap up a wide variety of Yankee Candle products.
The new store arrives right on cue for the festive season. Yankee Candle is famous for its seasonal fragrances like Cranberry Ice, Crackling Woodfire, Bundled Up and Christmas Garland, so there are sure to be plenty of takers for them, whether they're as a Christmas gift for someone else or a treat for themselves.
The opening of Yankee Candle is set to be followed shortly by the highly anticipated opening of world famous makeup brand Morphe's Newcastle store.
