Hyun-Jun Yang is seemingly on his way back to Glasgow after his transfer from Celtic to Birmingham City collapsed.
Sky Sports say the clubs have been unable to get the deal over the line before this evening's 7pm deadline for English clubs.
Scottish clubs of course have until 11pm to handle any arrivals, but south of the border, they only have until 7pm.
And Sky say that the Championship side are unable to push the transfer through on time.
Yang had travelled to the Midlands to prepare for the move.
