Leeds United have been linked with a January swoop for Swansea City playmaker Yan Dhanda after as they search to add another creative spark into their squad.
An attacking midfielder has been on Marcelo Bielsa's shopping list since the summer when the club purchased a deal for Rodrigo de Paul.
That transfer never materialised and whilst Leeds signed Raphinha, the Brazilian has operated solely in wide areas.
Leeds' Championship talents have struggled to step up to the Premier League level this season, with Helder Costa badly out of form, Tyler Roberts linked with a move away and Pablo Hernandez seemingly out of favour with Marcelo Bielsa.
Whilst Hernandez had been ageing like a fine wine, the 35-year-old was always going to need a long-term successor and Leeds' lacklustre attacking display against Brighton & Hove Albion may accelerate any summer plans.
The Daily Mail report that Leeds are keeping a keen eye on former Liverpool playmaker, Dhanda. The midfielder wasn't a regular selection for Steve Cooper's high-flying Swans but his influence on the side has grown in recent weeks as they chase automatic promotion from the Championship.
So, who is Dhanda and what could he bring to the Leeds team? Here's everything we know.
What's his background?
Dhanda joined Liverpool's youth set up from West Brom in 2013 and stayed with the Reds until 2018 before moving to the Liberty Stadium.
The 22-year-old wasn't a regular starter for Swansea until the Christmas period but he has shone in recent matches.
What's his position, where would he play?
Dhanda is very much a central player and usually operates behind Swansea's front two in a 3-4-1-2 system. He thrives off picking the ball up in tight spaces and feeding through balls to on-rushing attackers.

In terms of Leeds' starting XI, Dhanda would play in Rodrigo Moreno's position or as a more offensive option in place of Mateusz Klich. It would also push Hernandez and Roberts further down the pecking order.
How likely is a deal?
It would take a really good offer for Swansea to consider selling Dandha given their current circumstances.
The Championship promotion chasers are already searching for a number 10 themselves after Kasey Palmer and Morgan Gibbs-White were recalled from their loan spells.
With Swansea short in that area, they would be reluctant to allow Dhanda to leave without at least one incoming.
