Life in showbiz can be quite uncertain. Just a few days after her marriage, which made quite the buzz online, bollywood actress Yami Gautam has been summoned by the Mumbai unit of the Enforcement Directorate and asked to appear before them on July 7. It is learnt that the actress has been allegedly involved in some FEMA violations and it includes some foreign transactions through her bank account.
"Mumbai: Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons actor Yami Gautam, asking her to appear before them next week to record her statement in connection with alleged irregularities under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act)" quoted ANI.
Yami Gautam recently got married to ‘Uri’ director Aditya Dhar in Chandigarh and has just returned to Mumbai to resume shooting of her films.
ETimes had reached out to Yami but no response was received till the time of publishing this story.
