'Ya big shitey bag!' Janey Godley calls out Boris Johnson for dodging Glasgow and hiding out in rural Scotland

Scots comedian Janey Godley has taken swipe at Boris Johnson for not visiting Glasgow during his trip to Scotland.

But after finding out BoJo would be avoiding Glasgow on his whirlwind trip, Janey Godley called the Prime Minister a 'big scared shitey bag'.

During his visit, the PM is also expected to talk up his vision for a bridge linking Scotland to Northern Ireland as part of his "build, build, build" agenda for the post-crisis economy.

The PM is likely to confirm funding for a feasibility study into the idea for a crossing between Portpatrick and Larne, which would cost an estimated £20billion to build.

Johnson will also highlight the UK Treasury support for more than 900,000 furloughed and self-employed jobs that have been funded in Scotland and the £1.5billion of UK Government investment so far in the city growth deals in Scotland.
