Every couple is different, but usually, when it comes to cheating, there are serious consequences. However, TikToker Hannah (@traphousehannah) has divided viewers when it comes to her own partner’s purported infidelity.
In a viral TikTok, which has amassed 4 million views, the creator filmed herself at Olive Garden, saying, “This man got caught cheating, so tonight we feast.” She then panned the camera around to her boyfriend and said, “Tell them you’re sorry.”
The man then apologizes, and Hannah turns the camera around to stick out her tongue as the video ends.
Is Olive Garden a good enough apology for cheating?
Viewers were conflicted by this approach.
On the one hand, there are those who feel the man got off too easily. “Caught cheating and you make him take you to Olive Garden?” one asked. “The bar is in hell.”
“That man is not sorry,” a second wrote. A third remarked that he is “too happy,” while a fourth claimed that he “isn’t sorry enough.”
“And this is why the cycle continues,” a fifth added.
However, others praised Hannah for her way of dealing with the betrayal.
“Y’all are not seeing the game plan,” one user wrote. “First dinner, then shopping, then get home and have him do EVERYTHING for you for the next 2-3 weeks while you emotionally process everything, then dump him!”
“Yes girl, let him ‘make it up to you’ until you finally realize you’re too good for him!” a second encouraged.
“No, honestly, such a great idea,” a third said. “I’ve come to the conclusion that if I’m ever cheated on, I’ll have him take me out to dinner make him think I’m getting back with him, and then block him.”
She made two follow-ups
Hannah made two subsequent TikToks in response to concerned commenters. Replying to one commenter, who asked, “And what after that?” the TikToker said she was going to lie in bed and watch her show.
In another, responding to another commenter who asked, “Why haven’t you left him yet?” Hannah asked whether people were “pregaming” for the rapture.

In the comments, users implied that this could be a case of “ragebaiting,” and based on Hannah’s reactions, that does seem likely.
Ragebaiting/creating fake cheating content is actually pretty common on TikTok. User Kinsley Rae (@kinsleyrae2323) actually went viral for a similar thing, as she claimed to get a job in a hotel where her husband cheats on her. However, what many viewers didn’t realize is that Rae is an actor who acts out Reddit posts on the app.
Hannah didn’t immediately respond to The Mary Sue’s request for comment via TikTok comment.
