Xsite Braehead summer roller disco for all

Get your skates on at XSite Braehead this summer as the main concourse transforms into a roller disco themed extravaganza on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31.

The event will be broadcast live on radio station, Clyde 1, with DJ Cassi Gillespie providing disco beats and banter at Scotland’s leading entertainment destination.

You don’t need to bring your own roller skates either, these are provided free of charge along with access to the roller rink.

Rosalind Gibson, Marketing Manager at XSite Braehead, said: “I’m so excited for XSite’s big roller disco.

“This is a special event, and we are keen for as many people as possible to be able to get their skates on.

“We launched our package of special offers, Vacation XSite, earlier this month so the centre has such a fun atmosphere around it right now, needless to say Summer 2022 will be one to remember this year at XSite.”

To close the weekend spectacular, Scotland’s leading musical duo, Saint Phnx, will play an exclusive gig for visitors on Sunday, July 31 at 6pm. They will perform hits from their most recent album including their stand-out top 40 single, ‘Happy Place.’

Saint Phnx lead singer Stevie Jukes, said: “We are thrilled to be playing at this event. The idea of a roller disco is absolutely brilliant, and the best part is that it's open to everyone.

“We know some of our younger fans may not have been able to attend our previous gigs, so we hope to see them at XSite.”

The roller disco is open to the public from 12pm to 8pm without any need for tickets or pre booking – just bring your best moves and we’ll provide the skates.

Please note, skaters will be allocated a time slot on arrival, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy everything else XSite has to offer.

XSite Braehead offers family attractions, extreme activities, outdoor clothing retailers, bars, and restaurants, all under one roof. There is something for everyone - and free parking.
