Xposé has officially been axed from Virgin Media after 12 years on air.
The hit entertainment show has seen a number of changes and reformats over the years, seeing the episodes drop from five nights a week to just one hour-long episode on Friday.
However, there was shock throughout the entertainment world as the news broke that the hit show fronted by Cassie Stokes, Glenda Gilson and Nadine Reid, will cease broadcasting at the next week.
The hit entertainment show will air its final episode on Friday October, 4.
The long running programme brought the latest showbiz news, fashion, beauty and lifestyle to viewers for over a decade.
Speaking about today’s announcement, Pat Kiely, Managing Director, Virgin Media Television said: "I would like to pay tribute to the Xposé team and all who worked on the show over the last twelve years.
"Xposé set the standard for entertainment reporting in an era before the proliferation of social media and leaves behind a genuine legacy in Irish entertainment journalism.”
