The ECHO continue our look at Liverpool players' performances so far this season and it's Xherdan Shaqiri next up in the spotlight.
It's been a season of frustration for the Swiss winger, who has only made 10 appearances.
How has he fared? And what does the future hold? We've had our say..

It remains one of the most remarkable statistics in a Liverpool squad accustomed to racking up the records.
Shaqiri has played for just 216 minutes in the Premier League since February last year.
Injuries and the form of others have contributed to that startlingly low figure.
But what has hampered Shaqiri most this season has been the timing of those fitness setbacks, seemingly always arriving either when he could expect a run of matches or was just given a glimpse of regular first-team opportunities.
Of his 10 appearances, seven have been from the bench for 11 minutes or less.
Shaqiri's three starts all came in December, during which he featured in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final against Monterrey and scored in the Anfield derby win over Everton in the Premier League.
And that's been about it. An undoubted talent, yes, but not much use when not available, no matter how unfortunate his injury problems have been.
If Shaqiri departs in the summer, nobody would be surprised.

If making only 30 appearances last season was frustrating for the Swiss, then I'm not sure what adjective can be used to describe his tally of 10 this time around.
As has been the case throughout his time at Anfield, a series of relatively minor but annoyingly persistent injuries has meant that unfortunately he does not seem to be a player Jurgen Klopp can rely on.
As was the case last season, when he has featured, he has shown the positive attributes he can offer, scoring one of Liverpool's slickest goals of the season when he made it 2-0 early on his first start of the campaign in the December Anfield derby against Everton.
He followed that up with two more starts and two more sub appearances the same month but the fact the last time he was seen on the pitch was when coming off the bench in the win at Tottenham in early January says everything sadly.
It seems inconceivable he will still be Anfield when the 2020/21 campaign finally gets underway but his little cameos have played their part in this golden period of Liverpool's history - particularly that cross for Gini Wijnaldum against Barcelona last May - so that and his derby goal gets him a higher grade than perhaps he deserves on the surface.

It's hardly Xherdan Shaqiri's fault that he's made just 10 appearances this season.
Injuries have pretty much ruined any chance he had of forcing himself into contention.
But those same injuries have almost certainly ended any chance Shaqiri had of extending his Liverpool career.
It's a shame, because the Swiss winger is still a handy player when he is available.
He scored Liverpool's second in his first start of the season in the Anfield derby back in December, and who can forget the impact he had last season?
But unfortunately, the injuries returned and Shaqiri hasn't been able to get himself on the pitch since a cameo in the victory over Tottenham in January.
It's a situation Jurgen Klopp has admitted is 'frustrating' for both the player and the club, and it's why he can't score any more than a five from me here.
