Xherdan Shaqiri gives transfer boost as Liverpool tipped to sign Florian Neuhaus

Your Liverpool morning digest for Monday, June 21.

Xherdan Shaqiri wows Liverpool fans amid uncertainty over transfer future

Liverpool fans believe Xherdan Shaqiri may have added to his transfer value after scoring twice for Switzerland at Euro 2020.

The winger faces an uncertain future at the club after slipping down the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp last season.

The 29-year-old could decide to leave in search of regular first-team football elsewhere and confirmed he will speak to his agent after the conclusion of the European Championships.

Shaqiri netted twice against Turkey - his first a contender for goal of the tournament from outside the area on his weak foot.

Liverpool fans believe his wonder strike may have increased the amount any interested clubs will be willing to pay during the summer transfer window.

Liverpool tipped to sign Florian Neuhaus in summer transfer window

Liverpool have been tipped to sign Florian Neuhaus in the summer transfer window.

The ECHO understand Liverpool are monitoring the midfielder who is currently on duty with Germany at Euro 2020 but are not guaranteed to sign a midfielder to replace Gini Wijnaldum.

According to the bookmakers, Neuhaus is the most likely Liverpool summer signing.

Liverpool are priced at 13/8 to sign the midfielder followed by Bayern Munich at 10/1 and Borussia Dortmund at 14/1.

Various reports in Germany claim Neuhaus is ready to commit to one more year at Borussia Monchengladbach before planning his next move.
