Liverpool braced for Xherdan Shaqiri transfer offer as asking price revealed
Liverpool will demand at least £13million for Xherdan Shaqiri - and are braced for Lazio making an official move for the Switzerland international.
Shaqiri could leave the Reds this summer with a number of European clubs monitoring his Anfield position.
The attacking midfielder has seen his profile bolstered at Euro 2020 with his two goals in the 3-1 final group game win over Turkey earning Switzerland a round of 16 clash with France on Monday.
And with Shaqiri having a full two years remaining on his contract, Liverpool are in a position to at the very least recoup the £13m they paid Stoke City to take him to Anfield in the summer of 2018.
Reports over the weekend claimed Lazio had contacted the Reds over a possible move for the 29-year-old, of whom they have been long-term admirers.
The ECHO understands that while the Serie A side have made no official approach, Liverpool are anticipating an offer for Shaqiri once his involvement at the European Championships is over.

Liverpool striker set for European transfer as second bid accepted
Liverpool forward Liam Millar is expected to join 20-time Swiss Championship title-winners FC Basel this summer.
The ECHO understands the Canadian international forward is close to agreeing personal terms after a second seven-figure bid was accepted by Liverpool on Friday.
Millar, 21, made 27 appearances for Charlton Athletic on-loan in League One last term and was attracting interest from the Championship but Basel can offer Europa Conference League football.
Liverpool rejected an opening bid for Millar at the start of the week but Basel eventually met the asking price and are close to confirming a deal.
