The much anticipated launch of the new Xbox X Series has been hit with customer complaints are many were left unable to process their shopping pre-order.
Customers looking to purchase a device as part of the Xbox All Access plan were left infuriated after finance provider Klarna performed multiple credit checks only for the customer then to get a notification to say their order could not be processed.
It is understood that an issue with Klarna has meant orders are not being processed with the suppliers before stock levels run out.
Xbox marketing boss Samuel Bateman took to Twitter to say the company was receiving the feedback and had raised it with Klarna.
But furious customers vented after multiple "hard" credit checks were carried out, likely affecting their credit score and ability to obtain finance in the future.
One man from Edinburgh wrote to Smyths Toy Store on Twitter infuriated by the process.
"Like many others regarding the Xbox All Access, I have received an email from Klarna with the confirmation of the dicrect debit but there's no confirmation from youselves as there was an error towards the end and then I was notified that there was no stock left," he said.

Another angry customer said: I've had 3 hard checks, and 14 soft checks on me just for trying to get an Xbox, then rejected. Nothing wrong with my credit or history.
"Now I've been waiting 15mins and counting because they don't offer an easy way to delete an account they should never have opened."
