It’s one of the most eagerly anticipated gaming consoles of the year, and now the Xbox Series X is finally about to go on sale.
The console will officially go on sale alongside the Xbox Series S on Tuesday November 10.
However, Microsoft has announced that it’s hosting a launch celebration event on Monday November 9.
Xbox explained: “The show will be hosted by Xbox On and will feature Xbox Series X gameplay from highly anticipated launch titles and prizes to be won via live interactive challenges.
“The livestream will count down to the launch of the next generation of Xbox consoles at midnight, culminating in a spectacular holographic display set against London’s iconic skyline.”
The launch event will begin at 18:00 GMT tonight.

The launch event comes just hours before the official launch on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X on November 10.
Xbox said: “On November 10, people around the world will be able to step into the next generation of gaming. Xbox Series X, our most powerful console ever made, and Xbox Series S, next-generation performance in our smallest console ever built at a more affordable price, will go on sale with thousands of games available to play at launch including 30 fully optimised titles.”
The fun doesn’t stop there - additionally, on November 10, EA Play will be available on Xbox consoles as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Xbox added: “EA Play will bring the best of EA to Game Pass, including more than 60 of EA’s biggest and best console and PC games.”
