Xbox’s quarterly third-party game showcase returns with a slew of new game announcements, world premieres, and updates on popular upcoming and recent releases. Additionally, you can expect new additions to Xbox Game Pass.
2026’s first Xbox Partner Preview kicks off on March 26, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 5pm GMT. Last year’s showcase was 30 minutes long and included several cool announcements, such as the horror co-op title Reanimal and the Hellgate London-esque roguelite shooter Armatus. IO Interactive also provided another glimpse at its upcoming action-adventure title, First Light: 007.

What game announcements to expect at Xbox Partner Preview 2026?

Xbox has confirmed an in-depth look at Like a Dragon Studio’s latest action game, Stranger than Heaven, which was first announced at The Game Awards 2024. Additionally, GSC Game World’s Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be part of the showcase, so perhaps a new DLC announcement is imminent. Lastly, we will learn more about The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, the upcoming action RPG from OwlCat Games.
As for new announcements and updates, everything else’s a mystery, but since SEGA will be part of the show, there’s a slight chance we might get a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival. The highly anticipated JRPG remake was announced at last year’s Xbox Games Showcase, and there haven’t been any major updates ever since.
Also, given how many indie survival horror game announcements were part of the last Xbox Partner Preview, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Bloober Team stopped by with a new look at one of its upcoming survival horror projects.
