Microsoft has teamed up with Lynx to create a new fragrance called Lynx Xbox, designed to make you smell like a gamer.
The range includes body spray, deodorant and shower gel, which all come in specially designed bottles carrying the tagline: "Lift Your Game".
In an official description of the range, seen by Gamespot, Lynx claims that the Xbox-branded hygiene products contain a range of natural essential oils.
"Lynx Xbox is a fresh scent of pulsing green citrus, featuring top notes of kaffir lime and winter lemon, aromatic herbal middle notes of mint and sage, and woody bottom notes of patchouli and clearwood," it states.
Xbox Lynx will reportedly be available from July at grocery stores and pharmacies across Australia and New Zealand.
There is no word yet on whether the range will be released in other parts of the world.
While it may sound like a hoax, Aaron Greenberg, General Manager of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, legitimised the Gamespot report by retweeting it.
"Kudos to the [Xbox Australia & New Zealand] team for bringing fresh innovation and new IP (Intentional Persperation) to gaming!" he said.
The news comes ahead of the E3 gaming conference next week, where Microsoft is expected to announce a next-generation Xbox console and show more of Halo Infinite, as well as previously unannounced games.
