The preseason All-Big Ten team was announced today and Michigan State Forward Xavier Tillman made the team. Makes sense, he’s an absolute dog. He can finish near the rim, space the floor, and hustles on the boards. All the while, he is a quick-footed defender. Tillman, a junior and new father, will get plenty of minutes this year at the Forward position.
Michigan State PG Cassius Winston was unanimously picked as the Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year. No one can argue against that. We’ll keep you posted on who ends up making the All-Big Ten teams at the end of the year.
