Xavier Tillman is now on his way to the NBA, officially declaring that he will stay in the 2020 NBA Draft two weeks ago. Tillman spoke to the media on Wednesday about his decision to stay in the draft, and his explanation behind that decision definitely grabbed most of the headlines coming from that call, but there was another incredibly interesting nugget to come from that call regarding Joshua Langford. Tillman slipped in that “Josh” is looking really good what he has seen.
This is huge news for Spartan fans. Langford missed most of the last two seasons with an ankle injury some feared may cost him his career. If he can make it back to full health, it wouldn’t just mean a ton for what is looking to be a young roster of Spartans steering the ship next season, it’ll mean that Langford, a player who I always thought to have a future at the next level, could revitalize his basketball career for both the short and long-term.
