Xavien Howard was the lone Dolphin voted into the 2022 Pro Bowl

The Miami Dolphins defense has been incredible over the last six weeks, and there’s an argument to be made that no one on that defense has been better than Xavien Howard.

For his performance during this stretch and the rest of the season, the 28-year-old was announced as a selection for the 2022 Pro Bowl. This is the third time in Howard’s six-year career, that he’s been voted in.

Howard and fellow AFC East cornerback J.C. Jackson were denoted as the starters for the AFC, with Denzel Ward and Kenny Moore II as the backups.

This season, Howard has 14 passes defended, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, a 51.9% completion percentage allowed, and a 75.7 passer rating allowed.

If the former Baylor Bear wasn’t having as great of a season as he’s having, Miami would’ve lost their season opener to New England and would definitely not be on a six-game winning streak right now.
