X Men actor James McAvoy is giving fans the chance to have a Zoom date with him

X Men actor James McAvoy is giving fans the opportunity to have a private half hour long chat with him on Zoom - as long as they are the highest bidder in an auction.

The Filth star offered his friendly banter to the five highest bidders to help out Give And Go Athletics charity drive.

James said: "The charity organisation provides sports programs while delivering trauma based therapy in and around Philadelphia (my 2nd home) This Zoom session will be at a time mutually convenient for the Top 5 successful bidders (and me...Currently in London).

James added: "It will be coordinated and moderated by Give and Go Athletics' Founder & CEO, the brilliant Andre Wright. The session will be around 30 minutes. Get bidding!!!"

So far fans have been generous in their bid with the last offer (at the time of writing this) reaching 550 US dollars.

What price would you put on a chat with James?

James news comes as he announces he is the voiceover guy for new series The Bridge on HBO Max.

The show will see twelve strangers working together as a team to build a path to the prize and streams on February 11 on the channel.

James is also taking part in Celebrity version of The Great British Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer alongside Stacey Dooley and Dizzee Rascal.
