In this teaser for the new six-part “event series” revival on Fox next year, there are a few more clues to get X-fans in the mood (although not really any surprises). The military is involved – with a shadowy-looking man in black in the background. There’s something being injected into someone’s arm: black oil perhaps? Someone’s treading on Mulder’s iconic “I WANT TO BELIEVE” poster. And Mulder and Scully have remembered the batteries for their torches.
As well as David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their much-loved double act, the Smoking Man (William B Davis) and FBI head honcho Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) are also set to return, with guest spots from Flights of The Conchords star Rhys Darby and Community’s Joel McHale as Tad O’Malley – an internet news anchor.
Very happy to announce that Walter Skinner will once again be getting all grumpy and bitchy with his two wayward kids. Very happy.
