An X Factor semi-finalist has been charged with 11 sexual offences against children.
Danny Tetley appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court accused of the offences.
The 38-year-old was charged with four counts of possessing indecent images of children and engaging in sexual communications with a child.
He was also charged with four counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and five counts of inciting the sexual exploitation of a child.
Tetley was also charged with committing an act to or attempt to pervert the course of justice.
The X Factor contestant has been remanded in custody and will appear at Bradford Crown Court a date yet to be decided.
He first appeared on ITV s Pop Idol in 2001, before having another crack at stardom 17 years later on the X Factor.
