X Factor's Christopher Maloney is bedbound in hospital as he undergoes treatment for a mystery illness.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star worried fans after he posted a series of images from his hospital bed to Twitter .
Chris said he has been in hospital since the New Year.
It is not clear what he is being treated for, but the 42-year-old said there was "no sign of me getting out soon".
In a post on his Twitter, he told followers on January 3: "Good morning Tweethearts. So another day spent in hospital xx."
On January 5 and 8 he posted images from his hospital bed, which showed his feet underneath a blanket.
He wrote: "In the voice of Marcus Bentley...'Day 7 in the Big Hospital Bed' and no sign of me getting out soon."
On January 1, he tweeted: "Just finish my last "Evening With" show of 2019 at Grosvenor Bolton Casino! FABULOUS night & couldn't have asked for a better audience. YOU ROCK!
"It was even more special as I got to spend it with 1 of my BEST pals @Joe_AnnRandles hope ur sister & hubby enjoyed the show xx"
Chris completed his starring stint in pantomime Cinderella just a couple of days before that.
He'd been playing Prince Charming in Bradford.
