X Factor Celebrity's Try Star shock viewers as rugby players rap to No Diggity

If famous broadcast journalist Martin Bashir belting out a Nat King Cole classic wasn't random enough, we had rugby players doing hip hop as The X Factor: Celebrity made its debut on Saturday night.

While the 'normal' version has been shelved for a year, the hit ITV show is back on our screens with The X Factor Celebrity which starts on Saturday night and unites a very random mix of famous faces.

The X Factor: Celebrity lineup includes everyone from Love Island contestants to Ricki Lake and 'the girl from Love Actually' Olivia Olson.

Also taking part are Try Star, a rugby player trio who sprung one of the big surprises of episode one when they auditioned for Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh, as well as a celebrity audience including Randy Jackson and Sinitta, with Blackstreet's hip hop anthem No Diggity.

The group is made up of Thom Evans, Levi Davis and Ben Foden and kicking things off Ben actually rapped, leaving viewers in shock!

And it wasn't just their musical ability that impressed either. One flustered viewer tweeted "Let's be honest who really cares how well Try Star sing," and another reacted "Try Star have captured my heart and attention. I’m actually so excited for these guys."
