X Factor bad boy Frankie Cocozza is unrecognisable in new life as doting dad

X Factor's Frankie Cocozza might be remembered as the show's rock star bad boy, but fans of the show might struggle to recognise him over a decade on from the show.

Now, living in Australia with his wife Bianca Murphy, the singer seems to have turned a leaf and taken on a new appearance that couldn't be further from his iconic look.

The 29-year-old has chopped off his shaggy locks and settled down across the globe where the couple are raising their son who is named after his dad in a family tradition.

Taking to Instagram, the star recently shared a picture with his 151k followers that prompted many of them to comment on his transformation.

In the picture, which sees Sydney, Australia tagged as the location, a clean shaven Frankie looks down at the camera with significantly shorter hair that appears to be damp.

The straight-faced singer dons a white button up shirt with the top button undone, with a denim shirt on top as he stares stonily at the camera in front of a building.

Although Frankie is 29, fans are suggesting that having a baby has sped up the ageing process for the artist.

Taking to the comments, one fan wrote: "Kids really do age people lol"

Another penned: "Can I see a few grey hairs there boy?"

And a third wrote: "Young Frankie that I've been following for 10 years has grown into a man."

From his wilder days of flashing the names of his conquests tattooed across his bum cheek on TV, Frankie seems to have mellowed.

He married his wife and mother of his son Bianca in 2018, just weeks after he left the show Celebs Go Dating.

Frankie first found himself gracing TV screens in the 2011 series of The X Factor, but his time on the show was short lived after production staff heard him bragging to another contestant about cocaine use.

The singer was just 18 at the time and went on to tell The Mirror that he started using the drug when he was in school.

He said: "I regret it so much. I’m really sorry. It's not just the last few months on X Factor I’ve been taking cocaine or using drugs. To be honest, I’ve been doing stuff for a couple of years now.

"I was 16 and it was at a big party when I first tried drugs. I’m not an addict. I’m an idiot."

In 2017 the singer confessed that he'd managed to blow through his £200,000 fortune on booze and found work earning £7.50 an hour working on a building site.

He has since relocated to Australia where he leads his life as a doting dad and husband, a massive difference to his initial persona.
