Elon Musk has sent fans into a frenzy after appearing to tease that his newborn baby has been named X Æ A-12.
The 48-year-old billionaire entrepreneur revealed in the early hours of May 5 that he had welcomed a son with his partner Grimes, 32.
Although he didn't specify whether his baby was actually born on Star Wars day, Elon was quickly probed by fans about what the couple had decided to name their adorable son.
To which the tech entrepreneur replied on Twitter : X Æ A-12 Musk.
Although it is unclear at this point whether Elon was serious about the choice of name, it didn't stop followers giving its pronunciation a rather good go.
The Internet was quickly a flurry of very ambitious guesses as fans calculated their interpretations of the symbols.
Some concluded that the baby was actually named X Ash Archangel after guessing that A-12 referred to a Lockheed aircraft that is nicknamed Archangel.
Other guesses were Sasha Archangel, Aoife and Xeo.
Another Twitter user said: "worked out that “X Æ A-12” is actually just “xaeal” (L being the twelfth letter of the alphabet) so their name is probably pronounced ‘zale’ thank you for your time."
"It's pronounced 'Norman'" joked another.
In a nod to a certain Monty Python sketch, others quickly had an interpretation of their own: "It's written X Æ A-12 but it's pronounced Throat Wobbler Mangrove."
In the comments section, followers also suggested that the comment might actually point to the child's name being Danish or Norwegian.
Elon and Grimes are yet to officially confirm what nave they've gone with, although the singer has teased in the past that she will let her child choose their own gender.
The South African born billionaire made his romance with the quirky singer official - Claire Elise Boucher - at the 2018 Met Gala and it is their first child together.
Elon also has five other children from his previous relationship called: Damian, Griffin, Xavier, Saxon and Kai. He also tragically lost a son called Nevada to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
